p4 upgrade?

I have a terralux drop in for the streamlight stinger.

I am replacing the led with a SSC p4 U bin.

The risistor in there now is a 2R0 resistor.

Without the resistor the led goes blue within a second, with the resistor the led is not all that bright (80-100 lumen guestimate)

Any hints on what resistor would good to use?
Not to worry about heat transfer, thats taken care of.

I'm planning on adding some Seoul P4's to my Fenix L1P and TLE-5 minimag drop in, are you saying I need to add resistors to make it work? I thought the Seoul P4 could be swapped with Luxeon 1 watt LEDs without other hardware modification?

FYI TerraLUX is redoing the TLE100S with a CREE - I'm hearing ~200 lumens.
