Hi guys, i tried searching the forum but i couldnt find the english data sheet for the P7, is the P7 Lead with the hole anode or cathode?
thanks guys
best regards

:eeksign: i always test and re-test which cathode or anode before soldering the LED. I always forget which one, a DMM with continuity/diode function serves me well in determining the +/-. Always check, check and check before power. I know i am a little bit Obsessed.
What I do & I think is the easiest way..... After cutting the leads & mounting the emitter, I always tin the leads. With P7s this will fill in the hole on the cathode with solder. With P4s the lead with the slit is not connected to cathode anyway but I sometimes solder the wire onto this lead as well.
In the dome you will see a dot (connection) on one side near the connection. This side is cathode. This applies to both the P7 & P4 but not the P9. The P9 has an indent on the black housing for cathode.
Darkzero, thanks for the tip of the dot inside the dome, i was wondering what this dot was for. See i was so used to Luxeons where all their notches and holes denoted anode that when i got the Seoul, i was confused again.
Rizky_p, yes, i have to invest in a multimeter soon.
