Paintball marker oil for flashlight o-rings?

Question, Would paintball marker oil be ok for the o-rings in flashlights? I got to thinking about this the other night while cleaning my Tippmann. The oil is made for the o-rings in paintball markers.......so wouldn't it be ok for other o-ring applications?

I would think it would be fine. However, having used that oil before, it is pretty thin. And in markers, you tend to reapply it frequently. So I think there are better options that would last longer. But it should work.

I use paintball marker oil on my o-rings all the time.

Sometimes, I even use it to oil the o-rings on my paintball marker.
