One of my other hobbies is restoring vintage stereo equipment.
That often involves removing circuit boards from the amps and mounting them in my Panavise board holder in order to change out soldered components.

This might be a simple question, but I'd like a high quality LED light that would have a clip on the one end to clip to the rail of the Panavise, and then a flexible arm with the LED light on the other end that I could position where I wanted it over the work.

I've seen a really cheap POS that is made like that which has a very, very blue-cast LED (ugly to look at and ugly to work with), but I'd like something along the line of a nice color Q5 or similar that would even allow for 2 or three different brightness settings.
Something that worked like the Nitecore D10 would be GREAT for it's infinitely variable brightness and nice color (but of course, you wouldn't want the head of this accessory to be as big as a complete D10).

So, has anybody seen something like I describe, and if not, any ideas for making one?

Check out this custom work light by PhotonFanatic. It's not exactly what you're looking for but it is what you should be looking for

Actually, that is pretty much what I was looking for.
While a bit larger than I would like, it's ability to be used as a compact EDC to do double-duty makes up for that, and it's multi-level capability is perfect for what I'd like to do with it.

So what did you use for the flexible arm and base?
