parts compatibility for lego SF's

I was told that some of the interchangeability can be done with P, G, C, D, Z series. Will the M series work with these as well?

The reason I ask is I had seen at one time there was some Strider marked M series bodies for sale and wanted to get one for a possible lego.

I currently use the standard P and G series lights with Malkoffs in both of them.

M-series heads, except for the M2 model, won't fit. Too wide.

You can use a Leef adapter so they'll fit. But they won't fit in stock form.
