Hi guys,

I have an old photon freedom with a dimmer led. I found some Nichia CSs and 35k leds could make it as bright as new feedoms and Arc aaa ps.

I would definitely want one in my freedom too!

1. Which would be better? Kevin's 35K led or Nichia CS500s?
2. Is it possible to swap the led of photon freedom?

Please help out! Thank you very much.

Regards,
Joseph

if its built like a photon3 it should be able to. there is a post about someone modding it with a 1w or was it 3w, forgot which one. all the functions works perfectly fine. a simple mod. solder the original led out, solder in new. a bit of plastic was cut out from the front to make room for the larger led head.

oh ya~~ the green x5. sweet, i'm glad you're making good use of it. i think using green light as a reading light would make me sick @_@. i ended up keeping a white one for myself cause i couldnt sell it without losing the other arm and a leg which i used to pay for them...
