Greetings all. First thanks to those that run this site and to all who contribute all the great information here:clap:. I've been lurking here for awhile and have learned a lot, but I fell like I need some help choosing my first mid-size light.

I have what I want (for now:devil:) in the way of AAA and AA (14500) lights. So I'm looking to move up to something a little bigger. I'd feel more comfortable sticking with a single cell to start with, so I've been looking mostly at 18650 lights.

Some of the lights Im considering: 4sevens Maelstrom G5, Olight M20, MG P-Rocket XP-G. Id like something with a balance between flood and throw. Im thinking the Maelstrom and M20 may be too much of a thrower, but having never seen them Im not sure.

The standard recommendation checklist follows. Thanks in advance for any advice.
