In my opinion it's more a homage to the L6 Porcupine. Nicely done.
Body styling IMO,the crenelations on this look more like alligator teeth "not porcupine spikes" but it sure is nice.Okay, I have to bite! What is a 'porcupine' as it is applied to SureFire's wonderful line of products? I got the impression it has something to do with the strike bezel, is that the case?
Please enlighten me...

Instead of repeating myself I'll quote myself from this very threadSureFire Porcupines (-PP) are models that would not normally feature SureFire's crenelated "Strike Bezel".
The latest Porcupines have featured stainless steel Strike bezels.
The L6 Porcupine is special because it additionally has a unique patented body design.
