I was wondering if anyone knows what the voltage drop on the pilas would be or would the M6 Lola and Hola blow on two pilas ? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Well,

First of all, the current draw from the MN21 is going to be around 5 amps, and I have heard that the Pilas will shut down at 4 amps, but I am not positive about that.

Second of all, what will hold this lamp/battery configuration together? What are you intending here?

i was going to machine a battery magazine to fit the M6. It would either hold two or three Pilas. I am just trying to figure out which la. would work the best.
I have used two 168`s im my 12Pm running an N62 before without a hitch except for the rather short runtime.

So what i am trying to say here is which MNxx -2 or 3 Pila combination gives me the best runtime output performance?

No idea, sorry. But if you want a rechargeable M6, I will be offering regulated rechargeable battery packs for the M6 for sale in a month or so. Check out my active threads in the homemade and modified lights forum. The SF M6-R part 1 will lead you to all of them if you follow the links, and contains the basic info and summary (for now).

I guess I will have to buy a M6 soon, I am curious how long the M6-R would run the 250 lumen bulb ??

Also, what is the projected cost of a pack and a charger ?
