PR bulb question

I have a flashlight that uses a 19.2v, .6a bulb. Its not as bright as my 5cell magnumstar mod. Is there a better bulb or a mod I could do to use a lower voltage bulb. The battery it uses is a NiCad 19.2v 2000mah. Thanks.

Raven just noticed this on the Milwaukee site. This bulb fits many lights 9.6-28V

Well, you could definitely try an 18V, or maybe even a 14.4V, PR-base bulb. I don't think the 14.4V would last at all, though -- IIRC I used to run 7.2V bulbs in an old Makita 9.6V light and got about 30 minutes life, but it was bright (at first) and white. That was back before I even knew what a hotwire was called...

Any idea on how bright the Milwaukee Led would be? It doesnt seem to have much in the way of heatsinking.
