Details: D3 at 6400 ASA, F4.0, 1/125s, 100% humidity, getting foggy. It was not the best time to fire off pictures but it should give people an idea. The SR90 is BIG, with a tight hot spot and wide but not too bright spill.

'Hand held camera and the wife was holding the lights.

Thanks for the pics. Hid's still rule! (unless you like momentary light that is:) )

Are you sure the SR90 wasn't on low?? I just sold my Wolfeyes Boxer 24w to pay for my SR90 and the 90 blows it out of the water. I haven't had a ton of lights but I have to say the 90 is my favorite so far!!

This is strange. I really didn't think that the Olight would get spanked by a 25W HID that badly.

Strange.. I'll try to replicate your exposure setting with the same target range these few days and we'll see the outcome.:popcorn:

My wife hit the on-off button several times. I remember her remarking that it only has one output. It may be on low as it turns out. I will have to try it again tonight and report back.

your SR90 was on low, so I think, I got mine today, and it's very bright, more than my Warrior 3500 HID, I would say, will take beamshots in the next days....
Jens
PS: switch on and klick and hold for high:)

AEHaas, thanks for the pictures, but if you did have the SR90 on low, then you have done it a massive disservice. :poke:

I hope you'll put the record straight by showing it on high compared to the 2 other lights. :)

Thanks for giving it a try but it's kinda crazy that you didn't realize the light was on low...lol. ;) Looking forward to the updated pictures. If you can use a tripod or rest the camera on something solid, that will provide improve the results as well.

On low. That's funny if its true. Imagine being the OP and the light you just plunked down $500 on is only that bright.

'Just put up "High" beam shots on original post. The people in the tower penthouse were home tonight. The penthouse lights are all on but I lit it up a bit more for them.

Overall we have different lights. The SR90 has a well defined, white light, hot spot with a very even and broad spill. The other lights are much warmer and with a broader and brighter spill area.

The overall center brightness in my view is very similar to the AELight.

Ahhhhh, that seems better!! SR90 definately has a tighter beam than the hid's. Thanks for posting the high shot!! They all look good!!! I bet the people in the penthouse love your addiction !!!:nana:

I have been wanting a sr90, but now i am not so sure.

There are 2 versions currently available, one is the true version and the other is the tall story version.

I think the one here is the true version.

Thanks for the comparison photo's.
