Has anyone investigated swapping the LED's on an older Quad to get the 45 lumen output of the new tactical model? I've searched CPF for this already to no avail.
Has anyone investigated swapping the LED's on an older Quad to get the 45 lumen output of the new tactical model? I've searched CPF for this already to no avail.
Shouldn't be too hard. They're through-hole parts, mounted flush with the PCB. Just solder quickly so you don't overheat the leds. It's a good light; I like my 45 lumen version quite well.
