I just received my Romisen RC-N3 Q5. I'm looking to buy some rechargeable 123A's for it. My concerns are as follows: Safety first, then price, then runtime. I'm new to flashlights, and so far I'm interested in these charger/battery combos:

I like that the batteries are fully protected. Is it a good price and is this website legit and well recognized?

Great price (plus it's free shipping), but I'm not too sure about the battery chemistry and they're unprotected.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

My two experiences with All-Battery.com were buying Tenergy CR123A's from their eBay store, prior to joining CPF. Seems like an honest business with a good selection.

I see that BatteryJunction.com (operated by CPF member MattK) sells that battery/charger combo for three bucks cheaper! In addition, CPF members get 5% off using the code "cpf2006". Matt can tell you more about that product.

Cheers,
Gary

I have the first one. I've had it for about a year and use it almost day. I mainly use it as a car charger. So far it has been a great product but you should know that the batteries will not work in all Cr123 flashlights. I'm not sure why. Also, I think I paid less than $20 shipped off of ebay. You may want to look in to it (save a buck or two). Hope this helps.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. These'll have to wait...a set of my rechargeable AA's decided to die on me, so I'm on a search for those instead. I'll most likely use the BatteryJunction site, so thanks for the tip there too.

Thanks!
