Q: Cheapest Li-ion battery pack

I'm looking for something to power a bicycle light, two 18650's in series will do it. More amp-hours at the same voltage would be better.

How about camcorder batteries? I saw them mentioned in another thread, but is there any real difference in watt-hour capacity for a given price? Are there any that are real common and perhaps cheaper?

The original thread mentioned Canon BP945's, is there anything noticeably better? The eBay crap all shows 6000 maH, but that is probably nonsense.

The alternative is to find a real holder for 18650's. That would be great, but they don't seem to exist commercially.

Why don't you just put 2 18650s in a 3/4 inch PVC pipe and make a holder yourself? It shouldn't be too hard to make reasonably waterproof if you need it to be.

I bought a couple of 11.1V 6600 mah protected Li-ion battery packs for about $28 shipped a while back from www.all-battery.com might want to check there for deals.
