Question about the SSC led on a VB-16 from DX

Hi all!

If anyone has this model:

I would like to know if the Seoul Led sits on a Star or is it an emmiter on top of a heatsink? If it's a star is it round, hex or what size? is it easy to open the head to replace the led? Do you know what stock bin led is on it?

This thread might help.

I think it has a Bare LED. Either that or a Star.

The head is glued. The bin should be the U-bin judging by the output.

I purchased the SSC version from Waion and it was a SSC star.

Like AlexGT has said the head is glued.
