quick L1D, L2D CE question

I don't see this listed from www.fenix-store.com but is the primary non-turbo level when first turning on for either of these lights the middle (40 lumen) setting?

In normal mode Its, Low-Med-High-Strobe

So when you first turn it on, it defaults to Low level then? This is in contrast to my LOD SE I bought last fall which defaults to the medium level.

Normal mode is - Low Medium, High, SOS
Turbo mode is - Turbo, Strobe
