Hi folks,

I recently found 2 7D Mag bulbs, I bought them for a goof. If anyone has a need for them I would gladly give them to you for what's on the package plus the cost of shipping. I was going to play hotwire with them but figured that if they arent being made some poor guy may need them. They are the best Star Krypton bulbs.

Enjoy

They were hanging on a rack with other M@G bulbs at the Victorinox store at Westfarms Mall in Farmington Connecticut. I saw them and though it was a misprint, asked the fairly knowledgable clerk about them and he confirmed that they were in fact for a 7D maglite. I bought them for the oddity of it :naughty:

Interesting. There are a few guys that have 7Cs here. ABTOMAT has all kinds of everything so he's probably got a 7D. I'm kinda tired or I'd figure it out but I'm thinking there is probably a Radio Shack or other OEM equivalent you could experiment with first to make sure you were successful at a HotWire.

I'm just happy to see the pic. Pretty neat. Thanks.

I also have 7C and 7D Mags (pics floating in various places here). My experience with the early Magnumstar bulbs is that it's difficult to find one that will focus properly. The filament is magnified by the tip of the bulb and the resulting beam is certainly interesting-just not real pretty. A nice piece of long Mag history nonetheless. Good find.

Welcome to CPF, Tractorshaft.

To sell or trade these bulbs, you will need to post in the correct forum in CPF MarketPlace, not here.

I'll leave this thread open for general discussion of the bulbs, on the condition that there are no further B/S/T related posts.

Thanks DM51, sorry for the misrouted post. I really would almost give them to someone who had one of these uncommon lights. It just seemed a shame to let them collect dust.

I will put a post in the appropriate forum to see if anyone needs them. Thanks for the heads-up!

Jerry

Also should be no trouble for anyone with a multi AA set-up.
E.g. any ROP people, individuals with 7AA or 8AA -1dummy, also seems a great option for 2x Lico set-up.

these bulbs might be what im looking for . I have a 9.6 volt milwaukee powertool light in which regular 9.6 volt bulbs kinda put out an ugly yellow tint.
