I really want to get a Fenix P3D premium q5, and a P1D premium Q5 for christmas. However i am concerned because these two flashlights run on CR123As ad there are no stores around that sell them. I was thinking of getting a charging kit and some RCR123As from this link... http://www.batteryjunction.com/4parc390reli.html

But i read that some of the rechargeable RCR123As can screw up the electronics in the flashlights. This website said that the rechargeable batteries will work for the P3D but not the P1D...https://www.4sevens.com/product_info.php?cPath=53&products_id=201

Also i don't know what the numbers like 900mAh mean, and the website i am getting the flashlights from says the figures on lumens and battery life were for CR123A 1200mAh batteries but the battery charger combo i want to get uses 900mAh RCR123As. i was wondering if that means the batteries wont last as long or what?

I would be really appreciative if someone could help me, because i don't want to go ruining expensive high quality flashlights by putting rechargeable batteries in them. Thank You.

According to the CPF Welcom Mat:

Volts are electrical potential, amps are electrical current, watts are total power equal to volts*amps, and C is electrical current as a function of battery capacity. Think of volts as the width of a pipe: In general, a wider pipe has more punch than a narrower one.

The rest of that thread is a great reference if you're just starting out.

I would think that since the cells you linked to are 3.6v off the charger, there is a danger of them damaging the P1D. However I have no experience with the light, so it would be best to wait for someone with more experience to chime in.
