rechargeable budget UV light

Posted this thread on the Multitool.org forums that I frequent, but given it is a specific flashlight question, this is a more suitable audience. I apologise if this is the wrong forum section on which to post such a thread, if so, maybe the mods can move it to a more suitable place?

I'm looking for a rechargeable UV light for <£20 (UK). From what I have read it is preferable to have a wavelength of 365 rather than the more common 395? My own searching has revealed these as the most promising options (the main limiting factor being that I want it to be rechargeable):

I don't require this to have a normal torch function, just UV.

Wondering whether anyone had any suggestions?

But the light is now 20% cheaper than when I purchase ~2 years ago. The beam is relatively focused (like a normal flashlight, NOT a flood type beam).[/FONT]

My UV light has a fair amount pale blue light (not UV) that leaks out through clear lens. With the Woods Glass filter, the output looks entirely "black" (no light) when on. Light is $20 USD ... Note, for whatever reason, not currently shipped to USA.

You purchase a an 18650 Li Ion Battery and charger. These UV lights are just amazing. It will run 2-3 hours on a charge (1.010 Amps--Depends on the AH rating of the cell you purchase).

I agree, a 365nm light with filter glass is the only way to go. Otherwise you never know if it is mildly florescent or just leakage light.

I'm afraid that the two good lights I own that have significant power out (10-15W) aren't $20. The uvBeast was around $100, the Diamond $65.

I also bought an unfiltered zoom-able light (just for fun), branded Darkbeam for $22, not filtered and not very strong. They actually sell little round Wood's glass filters for $8 on EBay, and one dropped right inside, just drop in. The result is nice and filtered -- but only strong enough to shine on things very close. The uvBeast will light up a backyard.
