I am looking for a rechargeable incan as bright or brighter than a magcharger (stock) and also smaller. Of course I also want as good or better runtime! Iknow, I know one or the other not both but come on something has to beat it. (without going custom). thanks, Matt

I would prefer stock, price range up to say $300.00? is it possible? i haven't found anything smaller, yet. except maybe a 10x dominator but the price is painful.

Look into the Streamlight Strion. It's tiny compared to the Magcharger and very bright for a light its size.

Run an incandescent Surefire P91 lamp assembly or Lumen Factory EO-9 lamp assembly off two protected rechargeable 18650 li-on's. One solution is to use a Leef 2x18650 body. The Leef body takes a stock Surefire bezel and tailcap.

I'm not familiar with the output of the Magcharger but since someone already mentioned the LF EO-9 I guess it's safe for me to recommend the Wolf Eyes Raider. I only had the HO-9 which is 320 lumens and it was VERY impressive. Awesome output for it's size. It takes 2 18500's or 3 CR123's. It's even impressive with the stock 200 lm lamp assembly.

Only one thing if you go this route . . . . you might have to "tweak" the LF to make it right. I had to go at mine with a dremel and pliers but only to get the LED tailcap and momentary/twist constant just right.

Look it up. This little guy will surprise you!

of a Streamlight Scorpion 18650 - wont give more runtime (50 mins) but the size!

How about the SF? 8X, better 9N, with homemade batt stick.
"Just" 1.5 hours on high, but again: size!

Thanks guys, the magcharger is just bigger than I like to carry, i have numerous LED's -hate the color rendition, I also tried an ultra stinger but it's really not brighter and just about as big .I am thinking that the small HID's would be poor color rendition as well (but haven't tried them) but If not thats def. an option.
