:sigh: hi, does anyone out there know where i can buy a reliable charger for 18650 & cr123a lithium iron cells. i am now on my 8th charger from dx , tried trustfire and dsd and all of them give up the ghost in a short amount of time.
has anyone else experienced this problem? i live in australia , the mains voltage here is 240volt.

You could buy a low wattage converter to get the line voltage down to the 110/120 that the chargers like.

I have the Pila IBC mentioned above - on recommendation of DM51 a few months back. Very high quality unit. Costs a bit more, but you'll be pleased.

Its two charging bays fit the 18650 cells. It also came with spacers to fit the 14500 cell format. I did have to pick up a couple of 'dummy' 123 cells to use as spacers (from CPF member AW in the Marketplace) to be able to charge RCR-123 cells. Works great.

Good luck.
