The Brightstar Responder 4aa uses a smooth reflector and has a really strong spot at the center of the beam - more than I would like. Is there a good way to smooth out the beam to make it more like the Princeton Tec 40? Thanks!

I am not sure what you mean by good way but one effective way is to frost the lower part of bulb envelope.
