Just thought I'd give a heads-up. (I hope this is the right place for this)

My local Target has restocked a few of their River Rock Lights!!!
The ones that I noticed were.
The K2 Headlamp
The K2 Lantern (v2.0 3xAA, I think)
The 1AA light. Rebranded Nuwai X-1
The 2AA Camo 75lumen light. Rebranded Nuwai X-3

And the 1AA Nichia light. Similar to the "Jupiter"? ones? The ones with the focusing lens.

I *STILL* have not seen the 2AAA one about. That's the only one that's not in my River Rock collection.

Looks like their at full price too. :(
I was hoping to pickup another $12 2C light. :(

HOORJ!!!
They had the River Rock 2AAA light in stock for $10 and I got 1 of the 2 they had on the shelf!

I had stopped at Target to get a bday present for my bro-in-law. I ended up getting a little car kit and the RR 1AA Nichia flashlight. I figure the long runtime is better than the high output since it's gonna be beaten up in his car.

The downer was that they had been clearing out space for some lights. I was hoping it'd be something hot and sexy, like some more Inovas or something. Instead, we got loaded up with 2D MagLeds. :( Oh well, I'll have to keep an eye and hope they go on closeout soon.

[I still can't find that darn Energizer 4AA folding lantern. :(]

I stopped at the local Target on the NW side of Okla City and saw the same selection of River Rock lights. I almost bought the 2AA camo version if for any reason other than I don't have a camo-colored light. lol

Other than the old 'fish-eyed' 2AA River Rock with its narrow moon shaped beam, I think their lights are a decent value for the $.

I didn't leave Target empty-handed, though. I bought the "Eddie Bauer Micro Headlamp" which runs on 1AAA and has 2 small blue led's in the back of the battery pack for 'taillights'. It was on sale for $16.99.

My local Target store only seems to get two of the 1watt, 1AA RR models in stock at any given time. Was there today. Noticed something odd. The blister packs for the two that they had in stock, someone had used a barely noticeable wire ziptie to tie both of the blister packs together.

I'm thinking either a lazy employee, or someone who planned to come back and fool a cashier into giving him a 2 for 1 deal.

Whatever the case, I untied them and put them back on the rack properly. Already own one. Happy with it.

Oh yeah, walked out of Target with an Inova X1 (last Gen. model), and a 4AAA Dorcy LED light. Plan on using the Dorcy as a travel light for those times when I fly. It's 0.5 watt, 25 lumens, cost me $10, comes with a plastic clip (bezel-side down), and with it's plastic body; it looks harmless. I know others have had almost no problems with taking their expensive lights on board planes. But I'm not risking it! Dorcy gets confiscated, I'm only out $10.
