Can anyone explain if there is a good reason why the one direction ratcheting can't/shouldn't be over-riden and eliminated ????

I find it to be a function that a user soon becomes accustomed to and it's not necessary to go through all settings so much as just quickly turning through the number of clicks necessary to get to the setting you want next.

Most of the time you leave it on your favorite and it's still there next time you turn it back on.

P.S. I know it's been a long time for this thread, but I was just thinking about Bushnell again and did a search...
