Reverse Polarity Protection - Fenix L1T V2

Hello everyone,

I am wanting to protect my Fenix L1T V2 from reverse polarity probs

The only way that I can think of doing it would be to fix some sort of nylon washer around the "positive" terminal. What size of washer?

Has anyone tried this?

Any other suggestions?
