Reverse Surefire clip?

With the lego I have at the minute, I've been wondering and thought it best to ask before I tried it...

Is it possible to reverse the clip on an E1?

I'm wondering because there's more weight above the clip now, than below it.

Also, how to they stand up to multiple removals/reinsertions?

I think an E1B clip will work on most E1E bodies and lets you clip it reversed or like the old one.
