Nitecore NU06 LE is a small multicolored LED signaling light recommended especially for security forces. NU06 LE alone is compatible with ARC rails but still comes with 3 lightweight brackets: a flat magnetic bracket for metal surfaces, a curved bracket for tear-off surfaces and a bracket for the four-way MOLLE system. These brackets allow the NU06 LE to be attached to literally any surface, from bags, helmets, hook and loop patches, MOLLE systems to vests and armor etc. Nitecore NU06 LE has a built-in 250 mAh Li-ion battery (over double the autonomy compared to the previous NU05 LE) that allows up to 75 hours of autonomy, a charge status indicator and the charging port in USB-C format .
It has 4 LEDs, red, green, blue and white. Each LED can be activated constantly or to flash independently and in addition to this it is possible to activate a particular flashing, alternating red and blue, used in American law enforcement. The Nitecore NU06 LE is dustproof and waterproof with IP66 protection and is mainly indicated for outdoor activities and law enforcement personnel. Surely for those who move in the evening or in the dark it is of great interest used to signal our presence or that of our dear dogs.

The Nitecore NU06 LE is sold in a black cardboard box.
On the front and back we find the main features that distinguish it.

Nitecore NU06 LE takes up the lines of the previous NU05 LE but with greater possibilities of use and with different management of the 4 LEDs available. It has IP66 certification and is built in PC (polycarbonate), a resistant and robust plastic material. It is light, weighing only 15.8 grams without support. It has a square shape and is semi-transparent with a single rubber button for managing the user interface. At the front in the translucent part we find, in relief, the writing NITECORE and, on the side, the USB-C charging port and the serial number. On the side of the support, we find the model of the flashlight printed with the certifications and under the type of rechargeable battery (3.7V 250mAh).
NU06 LE has a maximum autonomy of 75 hours.

The 3 brackets make the NU06 LE very flexible in terms of use, it can be easily anchored in any situation ensuring a safe, shock-proof attachment to a helmet as well as to all adaptable surfaces (tactical backpack, straps, paracord etc.).

Selecting the color or flashing is very simple. Press over 1 second to turn the NU06 LE on or off. I remember that the flashlight has a memory of the last level used.
To change color or flash from off, press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds to start the cyclical selection of the modes. Release the button when you reach the one you want.

At the top of the NU06 LE there is a blue light charge indicator. With the flashlight off, lightly press the Power button to make the charge indicator, flashing, show you the remaining battery charge:

- Three flashes indicate that the residual charge is greater than 50%;
- Two flashes indicate that the charge is less than 50%;
- A single flash indicates that the charge is less than 10% and close to discharging.
Nitecore recommends charging the product every 3 months if left unused.

The NU06 LE is equipped with an integrated charging system. Lift the protective seal of the USB-C port and connect it to an external power source (e.g. a USB wall socket, a smartphone power supply, a computer or any USB charging system) to begin the charging process.
During the charging phase, the blue LED flashes to indicate charging. At the end the blue led will become fixed. The approximate charging time is approximately 1.5h. When the battery is fully charged, the flashlight can remain on standby for up to 12 months.
Nitecore NU06 LE can be used in recharging or powered by an external source.

The most powerful LED, the white one (15 Lumens), emits a light that is not particularly cold with a CCT (measured with the OPPO Light Master instrument) of about 5000K and a CRI of about 89. The light emitted by the small Nitecore NU06 LE does not give Flicker problems.
