Hi,
I recently build my first ROP, I use 6 eneloops to Power it.

Under Load the Voltage goes down to 5.5V, so the Bulb is underdriven.
Is there a way to get more juice out of the eneloops?

Maybe you have a bad cell? Did you check each one?

How are you loading the pack when you check it - what resistor?

I'll check mine later but if I remember right the six eneloops in my fivemega holder don't sag so much under load, I'll try a test later.

I did not check the individual cells under load, I try to do that.
I was checking the Voltage in the light (ROP High ~1.4 Ohm).

What is the voltage without load?
Make sure batteries are installed correctly, fully recharge them and recheck voltage without load and then under load.

I found the Problem :ohgeez:.

The wire I used to "replace" the tailcap during the measurements had a high resistance, and I measured the voltage on the wrong side of the wire.

Ok, I measured the Voltage again, this time I used my Leatherman instead of the wire.

The eneloops go down to 7.10 V under load, I think that's OK.
