RRT-1 help, batteries?

hi guys, been playing around with my RRT-1,used 2pcs primaries and 18650 with no problems.

I tried 16340 at 3.7v and it started to flicker a little bit, then the high and medium mode were the same meaning the brightness was still on medium even though it was on high

i saw in their brochure that it has a broad voltage circuit of 2.7v - 15v

did any of you guys encounter the same problem using 16340 batts?

No that's weird, I know the flicker you're talking about, I made the same mistake using 2 16340's in a mislabeled DBS pill, but I'm using 2 AW 16340's in my RRT-1 with no problems.
