Hi,

I just started running in the morning and is looking for some sort of blinking light I can wear for my safety. Any suggestion is appreciated. I have rechargeable batteries for CR123 and AA. Please help me find something along those two battery types.

Thanks,
-Daniel

I like the 4sevens quark 2xcr123 lights or the 4sevens quark minis are a great value:welcome:

Something to hold or clip on? Seems like anything that took more than a flat cell battery would be too heavy if you clip it on. Look in bike shops, ask to see the catalog they order from.

Do you specifically want a flashlight that you'd hand-hold and run with?

Because if not, perhaps wearing a Glo Toob Lithium might work? 360º, various flash and steady modes, runs on a CR123A. Think it would suit your needs pretty well…

Something like this from MEC (Canada, but no doubt available in your area at bike shops, or something similar).

Reflective arm or leg bands, a runner's vest perhaps (I have one of these with reflective stuff on it)? Or perhaps just avoid dark clothing while running at dusk and in the dark.

I seen the title of your thread and was thinking Rum.

I carry my E2DL because of the sharp end and dogs.

I run with a Surefire 6P Defender. I guess I could use it with an AW soft start which has a blinking function. I use it with a Moddoo Zero Resistance Twisty Switch and and FM Sunlight Module. Since FM is sold out of Sunlight you could use a Lumens Factory Module instead.
