Safe to use RCR123's in Surefire Scout 600C?

I am just wondering if it is safe to use li ion in the scout light?

That is a good question.
I'd probably just send Surefire an email asking for the input voltage range for the KX2C head.

When asking surefire make sure not to mention that you're wanting to use rechargeable's.

Just got a reply this is what they said incase anybody is wondering.
