I have been getting questions about the length of this sale... It will go on until forever :grin2:

This post has been Re-Done for a sales thread..

If you are looking for a Stand-Alone charger board:
http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?p=3066136#post3066136

The buildup will start med-Sept for the first batch of 20 :)

These are Usb Li-Ion/Poly Chargers that have an output of
100mA OR 300mA (seperate models). The charge rates are
fully Constant Current Regulated with a Pre-Charge rate
for batteries that are below 3.0v. The cutoff voltage is
4.2V on any Li-ion chenistry batt. They are Short-Circuit
protected, But are NOT Reverse Polarity protected.
It means if you accidentally connect the battery backwards,
It will destroy the charger. A dead RCR123 800mA cell will
take approx 3 hrs for a full charge.

Small alligator clips will come standard.
The colors may change on the cables and ends,
But the + Positive end is clearly marked. I am including
a set of round magnets to fit inside the clips for a quick
connection to batteries that don't have Tabs on them.
Clip-Lead length is approx 1ft/30cm.

The 300mA version requires at least 450mA from any standard
USB port, or Wallwart adapter. 99% of all Computer USB
ports will work with this. Although some of the low-power
mini-computers may not. The 100mA version needs about
200mA from the port to work.

A Green status led ontop the charger is for letting you know
it is powered up and ready, And it will turn off when the
battery is done charging.

Price is 35$ for the 100mA OR 300mA versions (Please Specifiy)
US shipping inlcuded, International Extra.
I send via Regular US post mail, Non-Insured.
If you want insurance, Please PM me.
I take Paypal and Personal/Business checks,
As well as Money orders. Pm me for my
address if sending payment in the mail.

You guys are quick
I didnt have this up for more than 30 secs!

Re: Feeler: USB Micro Charger for Li-Ion/Poly Cells

Insomnia insomnia insomnia. I should be asleep right now, shouldn't I?
Sabre, you're always the guy to come up with the coolest ideas. :twothumbs

Re: Feeler: USB Micro Charger for Li-Ion/Poly Cells

Just what i have been looking for. Perfect for holidays or at the office when you just want to top off a charge without taking a suitcase of chargers and batteries with you. Definitely interested in 1 or 2. Would the final design include the clips and magnets or some other nice attachment?

P.S. very nice lights in your sigs, just have to come up with a few reasons to put off hitting the paypal button for a few days drool drool.

Re: Feeler: USB Micro Charger for Li-Ion/Poly Cells

Pretty neat! With li-ion and li-poly I tend to prefer charging them up to 4.1V instead of 4.2V. The unused capacity is not significant but it seems to be much easier on the cells (much improved lifespan).

Re: Feeler: USB Micro Charger for Li-Ion/Poly Cells

I think magnets would be preferable, but I would be in for one. Just PM me if/when they are available. I don't check here often.

Me too. Robert - you should probably just put my name first on the list for what you make - on the off chance I don't want it I'll let you know.

Hey - can you include this in my mini-chimera?? (just kidding)

Had to edit this - Robert you are the king of options! I realize that this is probably more of a "here's something neat I can offer", but I just started thinking about what I would be interested in;
1. minimal length (4 inches of wire? - I generally carry alot of cables in my bag, minimal length to avoid tangling)
2. magnets / clips (note - clip only at + end, no clip at -)
3. small ring so I could clip it to something..
4. small case? Probably unnecessary cost adder.
5. LED color choice
6. must be some place to put GITD something....

I guess aside from 1 & 2 (maybe 3) my preference would be to keep it neat (clean) and low cost. If the cost were reasonable enough I may even go for 2.

Hmmmmm must be more

Looks really cool- love the portability. Sign me up for one! +1 on magnets or clips?

Re: Feeler: USB Micro Charger for Li-Ion/Poly Cells

Please put me down for 1 also.

***I may not have internet access again till Friday night but I will take 1!

Re: Feeler: USB Micro Charger for Li-Ion/Poly Cells

Whoah! What did i start here

Okay folks, Magnets and clips Will be included then
They are the same little guys that you see on the IMR
in the picture. I can even solder them to the clips so ya
dont loose em'. Dont worry about shorting the chaging
leads together, The circuit is protected.

Led color is kinda fixed at Green because
i wanted them to match my Chimera and Taglight leds.
And, I allready have a buttload of them to begin with.
6" of wire will prob be the standard on these things.
I dunno about a ring for them, But if i do, They will
be soldered directly to the case for strength. So i need
to find some 1/2"/12mm Nickel/Chrome rings for that.
Annnnd, The case is all metal anyways, So that means
it will be tough as nails  Not really much to break there,
Unless you manage to rip out the wires :nana:

What i think i will do is make a bunch of them, And whatever
order people are in the list, Get them first? Others will follow?

I just thoght of something..
You can grab yourself a cheap multiport USB hub from fleabay,
and connect multiple chargers to that! Woohoo!

Its Tiiiny:

Re: Feeler: USB Micro Charger for Li-Ion/Poly Cells

This is a nice charger since I'm always next to the computer!

Quick questions:

Will these work with the LifeP04 cells?
Will there be a termination circuit? I mean will the circuit turn off at a certain voltage?

Thanks.
