If you google "Lightsaver Miser" then you will find a SureFire compatible tailcap that is supposed to do amazing things with an incan. SF light. First click:100% for 1 HR 12 Min. to 50 %, Second: 50% for 2 HR 24 Min. to 50%, Third: 25% for 4 HR 10 Min to 50%, Fourth: Fast strobe, Fifth: Slow strobe (seems to claim 8 Hours), Sixth: Off. YES, it is for Incans. only, both C and E size series available. It will work on 6V, 9V and 12V lights. The cost is $30 and it is made in South Africa. The colors are black and HA olive.
All I know is what I read on the interweb.:) I did not think this was possible with an incan. Who will be the first to buy one? I want a full report on my computer by next week. :) "What will they think of next?"

I forgot, the Pila Codex does this for the Pila incand. lights.

It seems that it would have to be a pulse-width-modulated device, where the Xenon bulb gets full voltage, then no voltage, then full voltage, etc. on a cycle fast enough that your eyes perceive it as continuous light. I wonder if that's hard on the filament though? If not, I would absolutely love to pair that with my SureFire "12P" on 2 17670s and the standard P90 bulb for long runtime use as a trail/camping light.

Bunny, I like the way you think. You and I and MDOCOD ought to form some kind of SF 12P, 12V Incan. club. :)

P. S. I almost forgot Paul in Maryland. He should be our President.

Sounds good Ugrey - though Mdocod somehow strikes me as more of a lone ranger type.

Hey, does anybody know what the quality of these are - this same company previously had a strobing tailcap called the Blitzer out on the market a little while back. I just woudn't want to purchase one to have it later fail on me.
