SF E2D head on E1 body?

Hello Folks

From what I have read and been told you can run some of the 2cell SF LED heads on single cell RCR123(3.6 - 4.2)

Anyone running the E2D head on one cell or any other SF heads that can share there experance

How do they compare to the 2 cell lights?

Stock E2D incan or E2DL?

I don't know how the output of the E2DL in a single Li-ion is.

I have both of these and could probably try it however I'm kinda scared I'm gonna fry a component or mess something up by mixing and matching, is this a safe practice?
