SF M3 Lamp

Just received an o/s M3 with a gold lamp. Anyone know which lamp this is (mn10 or mn11)? Whichever this is, what color anodizing is on the other one?

After getting several layers deep into google it looks like the gold is the MN10 and the MN11 is red.

I believe SF used to color code their MNxx lamps. The MN21s if I'm not mistaken used to be purple.

Is your M3 the old bezel type?

The M3 is one of my favorite lights!

Yes, this is the o/s (old school). Round bezel - laser products tailcap etc. The guy I bought it from claims he's had it 8 years. Your right about the color code lamps. A lot of web sites show the mn21 in purple, but the mn10/11 were very much harder to find. I'll never get an mn11 in red so that information is just to have, but the light came with the gold and I wasn't sure it was the mn10 - now I am. I do like the m3 - maybe more than the m3t.

Yeah, I have a couple MN11's in pink/red, so the gold must be an older MN10, but I guess you already figured that out.
