i want to build a P7 weapon light for my bow.
i am going for the tightest spot possible =>aspheric lens
the power should come from two or four 18650 in an external case/bag.

where can i get a holder for the 18650 (like in a charger)?
should i also add a reflector behind the lens?
what is the best and smallest lens for a P7 led? kd link

An aspherical lens at full focus with a Seoul P7 will provide you with 4 square hotspots because of the 4 dies in the Seoul P7. single die LED like the Cree XR-E might be better.

A reflector will show up as spill in the light and could be ugly depending on the reflector. If you want spill, a smooth white surface instead of a reflector might be better.

Do you want a lens or an optic?

As for the battery holder, I'm not sure.

i ve seen the aspherical P7 beam shots too. the big X something i really cant work with.
i tried my TK11 @ 200 lumen (like a Cree XR-E) and it was not enough to work with beyond 20m. or does the lens focus the light so much better then the TK11 reflector?

is there no way to smooth out the P7+aspherical beam?
