Silver and Blue/Purple 2C Mags at HD

It has been months since I have seen anything but a black 2C Mag light, so I thought that I would give everyone a heads up:

I stopped into a Home Depot yesterday in Hampton, Georgia, and they had a box of four silver, and four blue/purple 2C Mags. I think that there was even another unopened box of lights behind that one.

Check your stores...they may be coming back!

I believe that they were silver.

I found the blue/purple coating mighty thin . On one of mine a few months old, I have
silver patches showing through. It seems more like purple paint than annodizing.

I bought a purple 2C Mag about 6 months ago and did the 3 x CR123 mod. It works fine, finish looks good but I've only used it for about an hour before I shelved it.

Oh, and I bought mine on sale for about $12.
