Hello, I recently got an AW RCR123A that has a small piece of the black wrapper torn away ... I'd say about 2mm by .5 mm, I can see (and touch) the metal underneath, down at the bottom of the battery near the negative flat. Any reason I should send this back instead of using it? Any danger of that piece touching something and resulting in an unpleasant reaction?

I bet you could test this with a volt-meter. Which end(s) of the battery have potential difference with that patch? I think that a picture of an identical battery with the wrapper skinned off would help choose. Now, let's hear from those with direct experience with these...
