smooth vs. rough reflector question

Hey guys...

I just got my dereelight DBS V2 and noticed it comes with a rough relfector as well. Can you guys tell me what difference I will see with the beam when changing the reflectors ?

It has the smooth reflector in now, that's how it came from Dereelight.

Smooth will give you a more intense spotlight, the rough texture will give you more flood.

Smooth generally reflects the light further. As said before, OP gives a bigger flood, and generally, smooths out the transition from the hot spot to the surrounding flood. Orlight make a reflector that combines both - the inner portion is OP and the outer portion is smooth.

Smooth gives you about twice the throw, or about twice the LUX at 1 meter.
