I took a new Stanley HID spotlight, took it apart and painted it with FLAT olive drab paint. I also took the decals off the side and painted that with flat black to match the back side. While apart, I adjusted the the bulb for a nice smooth beam.

This is the Hi/Low model and has only about 3 charge cycles on it.

Comes with wall charger and 12v car adapter.

I would like 60$ shipped (conus) anywhere else extra

Just got the light yesterday. Thanks. I like the paint a lot. What type did you use? It seems pretty durable so I am not so worried about scratching it too much. This is the first Stanley HID I have ever seen in operation so I have nothing to compare it to. You mentioned that you adjusted the beam to be smooth. Did you make it more of a spot or flood?

I used krylon fusion. It sticks to plastic good. (the plastic was also sanded)

The light originally had a small hotspot in the center and a ringly flood outside. I put a 1mm spacer between the bulb and the reflector and that seemed to smooth out the hotspot a little and blend in the rings. Didnt really change the throw just smoothed out the hotspot.
