Up for sale is my Nickel Plated Mag623 made from mostly Fivemega hardware. It took me forever to source all the bits, and after finally getting it all together and starting a couple of fires with it, I'm ready to reinvest some funds into another project. This beast cost me $310 to build not including shipping. It also includes the elusive AW Mag D Soft-Start 3-stage Incan Driver which is currently unavailable from AW, and I have a suspicion someone may pick this up just for the driver and part the rest out. This is is a true turn key solution including batteries, charger, and extra Osram 64623 bulbs.
It's not mint, but almost. I never took it out of the house. There's a little tarnishing on the nickel plating in a couple of spots that I'm assuming can be removed but I haven't messed with it. The tailcap is kind of a pain to get on due to the high spring tension and it has chewed up the aluminum on the end of the battery adapter a little -- of course this has no effect on performance. A spring mod would make this problem go away but I didn't use it enough to persue one. I took the driver in and out of the body a few times while troubleshooting a battery problem I had initially so the interior of the body where set-screw lands is also a little chewed up. I don't really know if I have the bulb positioned at the right height, but once I actually made fire with it, I figure it was good enough ;-). I'm kinda new so I don't know if these details are important but I believe in full disclosure.
I apologize for not having a photo with some depth-of-field to it -- after I took all of these I realized I don't have anything showing the whole unit in focus, but you can take the links below to see a nice shot of it from Fivemega.
