SOLVED: NiteCore D10 + AW 14500 = Hard to push button & intermittent contact

Thanks. I think I'll cut the spring on my D10 too.
Well, I unfortunately can't afford 14500s at the moment, but less pressure while using AAs would be nice. Although I have to say that you get used to it. Used to have a sore thumb just from clicking, now it's just a bit of a nuisance.

I cut about 5mm of length off the spring in my D10, cleaned the inside of the outer body and the outside of the piston with denatured alcohol, then applied just a touch of Nyogel to the o-ring on the piston and the operation is just noticibly nicer now... very nice result! Great light, the D10!!!
