UPS charges $15.37 (Ground) to ship the light, not including the cost of packaging. I know as I just shipped one last week. :thumbsup:

I cannot say for sure, but I think the lights that were listed on Sam's auction site were those that did not sell when Sam's put them on clearance. So I would think that they are gone for good.

I guess I will have to keep looking around for a good deal... I would buy this light at about $50-60 at the most, just because of how good of a deal it would be. I really don't have any practical use for such a bright light (I live in a residential area), but it would be a very neat thing to have for 50 bucks.

I was waiting to find a POB cheaper than $70 shipped (seems to be the going rate...) or to cave in and pull the trigger on one at that price, when I heard about the Stanley HID at Walmart, new for $70. I think it's likely to take over the cheap-HID-of-popular-choice slot from the POB; I just got mine today, and it's everything I'd hoped. It's not a direct replacement, but I'd recommend anyone looking for a POB take a look at it.

The price is 34.99, but there doesn't seem to be any "cart" system, or any way to actually buy the light on the site. I find this somewhat odd, since it says that this price is a "web special." The site seems pretty simple, so I don't know how up to date it is. If they actually do sell them for $35 on the internet, this would be a very good deal.

I won't need to buy a new one, I can spend some $$ on a HID. The B&D looks nice, just don't like the pistol grip type. Just me. VG
