FYI... Co-Worker just received one, and it is exceptional!!!! :devil:

I am not affiliated with Chinavision in any way whatsoever..........

Site claims 260 lumens... He verified it has a more powerful driver than his RQ clone from Kaidomain, and it hit a light tower at least 300 yards behind my work site quite nicely... Has a 5 mode switch (Low, Med, High, Strobe, and Beacon "SOS").

A mere $33.10 + shipping gets you the light, charger, and battery

Why don't you provide a write up when yours arrives? Sounds like a winner since the real Spear is no longer made.

From recollection there were a few clone variants and Kaidomain's RQ Cree had the better fit & finish overall, mine lost the top of the LED emitter "the lens" for want of a better description so I'll be upgrading it's (2 stage) control system & emitter soon, I'd appreciate any beamshot comparison your friend has with these 2 spear clones :thumbsup:

I got the RQ from KD. I got around .80A but later (after my post ) I used a fully charged battery and cleaned up the contacts, and got ~1.0A, which is pretty good.
However, the output looks a little bit low (compared to the C78 flood-to-throw on 14500), though the C78 diverges much more at longer distances.

Overall, other than a few bits of missing anodisation, it's excellent.

There are so many floating around DX I can figure out which one it could be. Hopefully it would be a nice host for a SST-50 Nailbender mod. I do see the KD one too but I'm a bit skeptical of the quality. But if it matches the original then its a nice host.

The OP refers to a site called 'chinavasion' (he called it chinavision?) that I won't link to, but you can google it easily.
The product specifically is titled "Waterproof CREE LED Flashlight with Long Throw Reflector" if you want to find it.

I own both the Piritlight and RQ spear clones , this one appears to be the same as the RQ , so I would guess the same factory .

The only negative I found with the RQ was the reflector coating , which just wiped off with a tissue .. I might have to see about having the reflector chromed one of these days and polished .

Which clone is most worth buying (I would put Nailbender dropin there)? Could anybody provide a link?

2 clones , Spear and RQ ...

The Piritlight is glued , my RQ was not glued .. Some RQ's seem to also be glued ..

Quality is close , RQ throws better than the Piritlight , but the Piritlight throws well enough and will offer good run time on high .

If your looking for a mod host , I would chose the one that most likely wont be glued shut [ RQ ]

I think they are destined to be mod hosts because my RQ is about as blue as a Fenix E01.
