SST-50 driver, stupid question.....

I was thinking about buying a SST-50(from KD) to use in a "DEFT wannabe"
And wondered if you modders had some thougts about me using sku.26106 to run it? ( from the fast delivery service called DX)

Is this possible? or just stupid?

What would you use that does not cost my eye and a finger?

I'm a noob if you didn't get it
(And btw Norwegian if you woundered why my english kind of suck )

And for the high end dudes: what would you use for LED and driver if money was out of the question?

:welcome: if no one has said so already.

That driver is not suited as it is for driving 5 LEDs in series at around 800 mA, not one LED at around 5 A. I don't have any personal experience with SST-50 drivers but there are probably some suitable ones in my driver list - see my sig line.
