Stingers with Strion bulbs

I have seen in the past that some people put a Strion bulb in thier Stingers.The questions I have is;

1) Does this really make the light brighter, and if so by how much?

2) Is the bulb life shorter, and if so by how much?

3) Is the run time the same as it is with the standard Stinger bulb, 1 hour?

About 20% brighter and whiter.

2)Is the bulb life shorter, and if so by how much?

About 50% shorter on regular use but more sensitive on shock.

3) Is the run time the same as it is with the standard Stinger bulb, 1 hour?

Almost same.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like it is a toss up if I want to do this combo. Have to give this some more thought. Thanks again.
