Strike bezel/power upgrade for E1?

I am currently lego-ing some of my surefires, and I've decided I'd like something which will go on my E1B body (E2D Tailcap already installed) which is

A) Bright.... Brighter than bright, run time can be 30 minutes, dont care, and
B) Has a strike bezel.

At this stage, Optics HQ's E1 mod is looking like the winner, except its dual output... this item is strictly flash and bash, no dual output needed.

Can anyone suggest an aftermarket strike bezel head, a lamp assembly replacement, or a combination thereof?

I'm not sure about the Optics HQ head but I think the E2D strike Bezel works for the E series heads. Though I have been wrong many times about Surefire things.

The Optics HQ TX2 head is single stage and rated at 3-8.4 volts. Might want to email them first, but it looks like it would work fine with a rechargeable.
