Surefire A2 digital aviator led upgrade

I upgraded my A2 with a drop in from lumens factory. The only draw back of it is that it goes low mode with the 3 ring led and then high mode with the led. I would have preferred the high led output when I hard pressed with the gas peddle switch. It's quite the nice upgrade though and I liked the tint of the led.

I loved the incandescent version. Does the led still give the spot of light, with little spill?

Basically it's a two stage primary led. When you push on low which turns on the 3 nichia colored leds and the primary (lumens factory led) on low. You push and the primary comes on in high. It's a spot with a bit of a flood on the outer edges, more of a true white led. The led drop fit is a little tight fyi. Unsure if it's because this is a first gen digital aviator or what. I can take some beam shots for you later on today if you'd like.
