Hi everyone. I'm new to the forums but not new to flashlights or the addiction that they cause. I'm overwhelmed by the amount of information on these forums and I'm glad that I found the site. With that being said, I was wondering if there are any users or dealers on the forums that have extra surefire catalogs that they would be willing to mail out. My uncle is an avid surefire collector and he always collects the catalogs from every year. I'm trying to get him the 2009 and if possible the 2008 catalogs. I have called surefire and they have been of no help to me and all the dealers I go to say they only have one of each and that they will not give it away. If anyone is willing to send these out, just send me a PM or reply on the thread. Thanks!!

Uh condition is not that big of a deal to him. He just really wants to have all the printed versions. He still has the illumination tools catalog from 1996 !!! I believe he is missing the most recent years from 2007 and up. The last ones that I got him were from 2006. I feel bad for letting this get by me. LOL

I dunno what I did with my catalogs...I kinda stopped requesting them because of the reiterations and the products featured but never went on-line.
I'm still a firm supporter of surefire though [T-shirt, Pin, hopefully a hat soon], only I will not buy any new lights from them until the ones I have burn out
By that time the technology will have jumped much further, like RTG powered pocket HIDs

did u try calling all the dealers in USA?
When I was in the UK, I go through hassle to acquire the surefire catalog calling here and there..I called quite a lot from distributor to dealers.
The distributor here in Malaysia which is where I am currently am, would not distribute to end user, they will only distribute it to dealers.

All the local dealers that I called did not want to get rid of their only catalog. I think I'm going to go by a few of them early next year and see if I can pick a few of them up before the 2010 catalogs get there. That still doesn't solve my issue for the 2007 and 2008 ones though.

I would love a 2009 catalog. I live in the sticks of alaska and there are no dealers around me to score catalogs from. I would gladly pay the shipping to me for one. Thanks

I've never scored a catalog off a dealer, I simply went to Surefire's website and ordered one
while in season of course:shrug:
