surefire battery backorder!?!

hey guys i ordered a g2 and 2 boxes of batteries from surefire a month ago i got the g2 about a week later and a letter from surefire saying the batteries are backordered well its been 3 weeks and still no batteries i dont know if i should call them or what is anyone else having this problem?

Maybe redesign and re-evaluation due to battery explosion?

Call them. I ordered two boxes of batteries last Friday and received them Monday.

I placed an order for 2 boxes on Feb. 20, and they were back ordered as well. They came via UPS yesterday, Mar. 15.

I did notice the box (battery box, not shipping box) was made of a thinner cardboard, and not the corrugated cardboard like previous orders. The batteries in the new box style were stamped 12-2014.

Cool, I guess. I have a source of batteries at Cabelas. (a bit expensive $20.00 for 12 batts) or I can get them at a story for $17.95 a box.
